Is It Friday Yet? Oh Wait it IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been a week from HELL!!!!!!!!! I am having issues with my computer at work. It is freezing up on me all the time. Making it nearly impossible to work on my presentation for Wednesday. Looks like I will be taking the crappy computer home with me this weekend. yeah! I am having problems at work with one of my projects. This is all I will say, for fear of being dooced. Needless to say this is really bothering me and causing me undue frustration.

I am however getting use to driving the Madness which is the Beltline. Last night it was hell. The snow caused extreme slow down. It took me 1 hour to get home instead of a 1/2 hour. I hope that it holds off on the snowing bit until after both Josh and I are safely home. I wasn't cut out for being a city girl. No matter how much I live in a city I will never get used to it. I will long for the windy country roads and the serenity of living in the country.

Change of Address Form

First things first, I would like you all to say a little prayer for my uncle. His mother passed away this weekend after a battle with cancer. I know the pain and relief that is felt when a loved one loses that battle.

Alright, on to everything else! We are moved! That feels really great to say. It was cold! Man, it was cold!!! We started loading at 9:30 or 10 in the morning. We were all unloaded by 3pm. I think that is pretty good timing considering we had an hour drive in there too. Now I am a stranger in our own home. My mom and Heidi moved me into the kitchen. It turned out great!!! There were only a few things that I re-arranged because I wanted them someplace different. Mitch and Markys, oh how I love them, arranged our bedroom. They even put our bed together, dust ruffle and all. It was really great. So great that no one could bring themselves to tell them that the in fact put the wrong bedding on the bed.

I have successfully made it to work 2 days now. I really don't like driving the Interstate and Beltline in the dark. It has started to lighten up earlier so that will be a plus. At that time of day the road is always shiny so how are you supposed to tell if it is ice or a glare. I right now am the big wimp who is driving just over the speed limit. Those of you who know me that is a huge change!!! HUGE!!!!

We are anxiously awaiting our DSL hook up. We got another e-mail today confirming our order, but verifying that we in fact have the ability to have DSL. They told us that we would have it next Wednesday the 26th. What the heck takes so long?? Stupid people.

Our neighbor is really awesome. He brought us a delicious pot roast the day we moved in. The only thing is you would swear that he has a baby pet elephant. It isn't that he is all that loud, it is just that I have always either lived in an upstairs apartment or didn't have an upper floor to hear such noises. Jackson is getting used to that too. We have to stay on top of his barking and keep threatening the shock collar if he doesn't shape up. Yeah like he really knows what we are talking about.

Finally, I removed the Days of Our Lives spoiler page link because I am really not sure that it is a reputable site. I am having problems with my computer at work and am trying to figure out why. I just don't want to introduce a site to anyone with spyware on it.

I hope you are doing fine, I will try to write more often now that we are moved.
