As you know we bought a dog in March. He is turning 6 months old a week from today. I know that having a dog is hard work. You have to diligently train him and exercise them and everything. Somewhere in the past 4 months we went wrong. Jackson has turned into a barking, car chasing, cat taunting, peeing on the bedroom floor in the middle of the night fool. So being the good dog parents that we are we want him to stop doing this stuff before we sell him to the people who eat dog(trying to be pc). We keep threatening him that we will do it. But alas it never happens.
So last night I spent a large chunk of my evening at Petsmart. I really like the store a lot. I love all of the fun things that they have to keep our puppy occupied when we can't. It took a large chunk of the evening because the customer service was awful!! I walked around for atleast 10 minutes looking for an associate. I found one over by the reptiles messing with an aquarium. So I patiently waited for several minutes waiting for her to put it back together. When she was finished she started to walk away from me so I said "Ma'am I need some help." To which she replied in a snotty tone "I am helping someone else right now." So I waited for the Bitch to get off the phone to help me get into the pet electronics case to find something to make my dog stop barking. When she finally got off the phone she couldn't help me anyway so I had to wait another 15 minutes for a manager to come and open the case. I finally after 45 minutes walked out of the store with the machine that is supposed to stop dogs barking in an area.
This is a machine that when a dog barks continuously it makes a sound that they can only hear that makes them stop. It also has a manual push button to use when they aren't barking quite enough or loud enough to set the thing off. When I got home I tried it on Jackson several times with GREAT success. I am very happy with it so far.
Now if only they made something like that for Josh.........actually I wish that he would talk more.
My family has always had crazy things happen to them. We have had several people say that we should just put a carousel in the front yard and open the doors as a circus. This is just a glimpse into the madness

What about your Friends?
You know when it comes to friends it is commonly known that you either have a lot of good friends and 1 or 2 best friends or a circle of close friends . When it comes to Josh and I, I feel that we have the circle of close friends. Granted we don't keep up like we should but we are close. For me it has always been hard to keep friends. Don't ask me why, we just lose touch over time or we just grow apart. I feel the group of friends that we have now are the greatest bunch of people that we could have found.
Two of our closest friends got married this weekend. They are the type of people that everyone needs to have in their lives. Mitch and Heidi are so much fun and easy to talk to, they really know how to have a good time. I am SO HAPPY for them. They have found the true love that they deserve. There are not words to express the emotions that I felt this weekend. But, the whirlwind has left me is a blissful state when I really feel as though I should be exhausted. Their loved rubbed off on everyone that attended the celebration.
The greatest part was having almost ALL of our close friends at the wedding. I got to laugh and cry with them. I enjoyed dancing with them. You know I was astonished when Heidi told us they were having nine couples in the wedding(one dropped out leaving 8). You know what every single one of those people loved them as much as I do. What a GREAT bunch of people. I only knew one of Heidi's bridesmaids coming into this and I left feeling a closer to each of them as they all had warm hearts. Never did they make me feel as though I didn't belong, they accepted me with open arms. As for the guys, there was only one groomsmen that I had never met before, but what a guy!! This really gave me a chance to get to know these guys so well and learn about them. I came away keeping a small place in my heart for them.
The hardest thing to deal with was realizing that it was all over. Poor Heidi cried at the end of the evening because her beautiful day was gone, leaving her only with the sweet after-taste and craving more. I am saddened at the fact that these people as close as we have grown in a short period of time may only see each other a handful of times in our lives. They are the greatest kind of people to know. Here is a top fifteen(ten was just not enough)list:
Top fifteen things I will remember from Mitch and Heidi's wedding!
15. Getting my first mani/pedi now I am hooked.
14. Learning that Snuggles, who set his wedding date for the same day as ours is no longer getting married. Now we don't have to fight over our friends.
13. Sleeping with Heidi her last night as a single woman, laying there and talking just like teenage girls.
12. Dancing in a circle to "Friends in Low Places" Just like we did in p-ville.
11. Patrick hitting on everything that moved.
10. Almost falling over when seeing my ex-roommate from college walk through the bathroom door.
9. Telling my friend Billee that we were in fact having our wedding reception at a bowling alley after she told me "she wasn't getting married in Platteville because she didn't want to have her reception in a bowling alley."
8. Having Josh tell me over and over how beautiful I looked in my bridesmaid dress. (I can't wait to hear his comments about MY wedding dress).
7. Smashing Sarah's face into my boobs and having the pictures to tell about it.
6. Learning that a flush isn't all the same colored cards they actually have to be the same suit.(That was the shower weekend, but still a valuable lesson)
5. Josh winning $65 from the blackjack machine at BS's
4. Nankee saying to me at the end of the night "What you mean it's over, this is it?"
3. Heidi puking 5 times the morning before the ceremony.
2. How beautiful Heidi looked in her wedding dress.
1. Animal mating calls are a fun way to make the couple kiss.

Global Volunteer Day
Today was Global Volunteer Day my job. There were several things in which you could volunteer to do. There were things like: paint trim on the community center, do light housework for the elderly, work in the greenhouse at a assisted living facility and stuff like that. Well I chose to walk around Research Park and pick up trash. As you may remember a tornado hit the area a couple of weeks ago. So it was quite interesting to see what we could find. The most common item found was tar shingles. They were EVERYWHERE!!!! We found mangled steel, siding, and a mess of trees. My find was a hub cap. I was pretty proud of that find. Except I got covered in brake dust carrying it back to the collection site. I am so happy that it was a decent day.
Although the weather was nice it was getting pretty hot in the sun. If you have known me a long time you will know that I have a tendency to "die" in the heat. As my mother will tell you I was born without sweat glands. The Drs once told her that the blood vessels on the surface of my skin do not expand and contract like they are supposed to when you are hot or cold. So when I am hot I get red, I mean magenta as my loving fiance would say. I do not sweat. Figure this out I will sweat when I am warm but not when I am hot and on the verge of "dying". Anyway by the time I got back I was so hot!! I laid on the shower room floor and poured water over my head until I cooled off. I felt bad because a few of my co-workers still needed some help and here I was unable to move. So after I cooled off I went to explain it my problem to them. I am glad that I work with understanding people.
Now I have never had a heat stroke but I understand how it must feel. I just wish that I would have been born normal.

Comments
I have heard from a few people who are having difficulties commenting on my blog. When you want to comment click on the word COMMENT(0). That will always be before the line at the end of a post. I did not want to make everyone sign up for a blogger account to make a comment, so I went through a third party source who does it for free.
That is all I have to say for today. I am feeling kind of down and out. I haven't had a good day and it is only 8:20. I just want to go back to bed monday night and start the whoel series of events over.
