Well my staying up until 11 and voting sure paid off. Carrie Underwood is the new American Idol. Carrie has been my pick all season. That is my first correct pick since Kelly Clarkson and season one. I wanted Clay to win in season 2. He still has outshined Ruben. I hated season 3, I cannot stand Fantasia!!!!
I will go to bed a happy girl tonight.

Carrie is beautiful and truly talented, but she is limited. She did awesome with country for sure, but she was shakey with other music. Bo rocked everything he did. It took me a long time to like him, but he won me over. I wish Carrie well.
Carrie is anything but limited. She has awesome range in her voice. I think that she will much more successful then Bo. Want to talk shakey, how about Bo singing country. Carrie excelled at every song she sang, Simon even said so. :) Carrie Rocks!!
I think that they were the best finalists yet! I would buy both of their CDs. I tend to like Carrie because she sings the type of music that I like. She picked songs that I loved. I am not much of a rock person. So Bo's choices sometimes turned me off. But often when I thought something was good the judges thought it was bad and vice versa.
